Before I get to the name, I'd like to thank everyone for their participation at the Baby Boy #3 blog today. It has been really great for us to get to share the day with all of you. Thanks for your comments, votes, prayers, love and support.
It has been a great day, things have gone wonderfully (we'll see how the first night goes).
But if you're still reading this blog, you're not reading it for the fluff. You want some real breaking news.
Christa wants me to make sure that everyone is aware that we reserve the right to change the name without notice (and we did it with Baby Boy #2, so these are not just hollow threats). However, for the time being, the name that we have chosen after much consultation, great contemplation, and a few arm wrestling matches is:
TY JEREMY DASTRUP.

Ty Dastrup... Sounds good. I heard he was born blue. Is he a cougar football fan?

ReplyDeleteAs you can see from all of Ben's frequent comments, I haven't had much time to make my own, so congrats! We're so sad we're not there to make a random hospital room drop-in and see the little guy in person. Hope everything is going well!
ReplyDeleteOnce again you have stolen our baby boy name (Benjamin was choice #1 for us and Tyler was choice #2). Oh well, we are not producing boys anyway.

ReplyDeleteWe lost you guys for a while, and our grief was overwhelming. What joy to find that your beautiful family has grown! Christa looks AMAZING, but that's not a surprise. And if you could joy had a light, it would be identical to that glow in Brigham's eyes.
